Consulting
I offer research consultancy that combines ethnographic fieldwork, qualitative analysis and policy translation to support organisations working on gender, education, social change, development and sustainability.
I design and lead applied research projects, develop participatory methodologies and fieldwork tools, and translate complex qualitative evidence into policy briefs, programme design and strategic learning.
I have worked with organisations including the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), UNICEF, the Ford Foundation and the Carnegie Middle East Center.
My Approach
My consultancy emphasises partnership with local organisations and communities, ensuring research is ethically grounded, contextually informed and practically useful for decision-making, advocacy and long-term institutional learning.
Simple ideas
I focus on clear questions grounded in people’s everyday lives. By listening closely to community knowledge and lived experience, I aim to make complex social challenges understandable and actionable for research, policy and practice.
Lasting impact
My work supports organisations to design programmes, policies and research that are culturally informed, ethically grounded and responsive to local realities. I prioritise approaches that build long-term capacity, strengthen knowledge systems and create resources that communities and institutions can continue to use.
